It was sold without comment and a price to match so of course I assume it's a repro, or fake, depending on the circumstances of the distinction.
I know little about the reproducing/faking of the various garments themselves, owned an original one of these decades ago and haven't actually handled many more, but just intuitively this one seemed quite elaborately made, detailed. Just made me wonder.
The center seam and the two darts in back have been let out.
I wondered about the five holes in the strips inside (part of belt hanger?), because some are round and some are ovals and I've never seen that elsewhere. I seem to recall reading that that stitching on the back of the collar may be a problem too...
From studying the pictures I can this piece doesn't seem to match either the SM or the ATF versions, unless maybe it's one their earlier examples.
I don't know Antz, Pirschen, Janke etc, but I am curious about the various makers of the better repros/fakes.
