If you don't know, perhaps you shouldn't be telling someone they're OK...These collar tabs are poor quality reproductions...John

I agree. I am constantly astonished by people on this forum who say they don't know, but offer an opinion anyway based on an unknowledgeable guess. I cannot think of anything less constructive or a bigger waste of everone's time. If I don't know I keep my mouth shut and listen to those who do. Better to have three worthwhile opinions then fifty guesses.

Sorry fakes I would say made in the far east as there are a few tell tales signs on the back that would indicate that, but how someone has worked on them to give them that aged look, the acid they have used to tone down the aluminium embroidery has also spilt onto the wool and stained/removed the colour from the black as well,
