Large canvas with the words Deutschland

Hi guys.
I want to hear your opinions about what it is. Subject is a large canvas, 180 centimeters long and 50 centimeters wide. Cloth made of wool. Letters sewn on the top and apparently made of silk.
It is believed that the subject could be used at funerals ranks of SS Regiment Deutschland.
I would be grateful for your opinions.

I would be surprised if that was a Veterans piece as my understanding is that the font used was abandoned by Hitler once he found out it had Jewish origins.
