I must say I do not see any red flags on them, but want to be sure for 100%. What do you think about the soles? Are they period?

I like them, on all of these tropical boots, check the stitching on the leather, canvas, and the leather affixed to the canvas, good ones will be very very well done, precise and exhibit good craftmenship, the fakes are poorly executed , varying thread stitch line length, and parallel stitching rows will not line up as they should.
