Not an expert, but it looks ok to me. I don't know of any reproductions of this eagle that aren't glaring fakes, I don't think this one suffers from that

That's the rub with these...variations exist to the eagles head even breast feathers.But they all share that same banged up swastika. A lot of collectors mistake the backing to the triangle as material removed from the black panzer cap in this style. Ive only seen around 5 of these on the market in past decade or so and all have had the backing material making study of embroidery on rear impossible. Heres mine, bird is totally different from example that started this thread..but notice funky swastika? (This cap was a gift from Mike Beaver about 6 mos before his passing) So, in closing, Mr. sans problem, I see NO PROBLEM in the birdie you posted! Good luck getting it! Best wishes Richard
