What is this ?

Gents,fresh arrive a ss fotoalbum.The young guys often wears a tunic with hj-armbands below the ss-sleeve eagle.Later than they wears the mostly seen camo tunics.
Anybody an idea what the hj-armbans will mean?

That would be my guess. I saw a photo album on this site (don't remember which one) http://www.kriegsberichter-archive.com/index.php that had a lot of pics like this. I just assumed they were getting ready to go to 12th SS PzDiv

Looks like 12th SS men training. The gebirgsjager boots were common. The strange thing are the M 40 tunics. Most 12th SS photos show M 42 tunics being worn by the enlisted ranks. Do these men look to be 17 years old? Most of the recruits for the HJ div were born in 1926.
