    Opinions needed: SS Camo cap

    Hi All,
    I've found and read a lot of great (and) usefull topics on WAF concerning SS camo caps, but I still need some opinions from the camo experts for this 'fieldmade' 'eichentarn B' cap
    These are the only pics I have (for now);

      Modern (ie postwar) reproduction, IMO.

        Original cloth

        Original cloth.

        Definition postwar is difficult because cap's is difficult to say Original fieldmade or postwar made.

                  This one looks good to me, now compare this to the "fieldmade" cap and you will see a number of differences not only as far as the cosntruction is concerned.

                    Yes, the first two posts are the same cap.

                    Cheers

                      Man, I don't. The one on PvL's site is a one-looker IMO though.
                      It really comes down to personal experiences with these I guess.

                        Made in former Eastern Block from real material. Best repro around, and they fool a lot of collectors.

                          It's been done many times before.
