Skull SS Original or fake?

Hi all. I have a question about this early SS skull. What are her great doubt. You can not assign it to any producer and the market is a wealth of. I throw thread again in the appropriate forum.

Not keen on the skull, the pins look a little thin. Not one for me.

Can't comment on the eagle.

I disagree. The skull is original, IMO. Remember - There's a very good possibility the skull was worn by SS, but these early skulls were also worn by other units, such as certain Army regiments, early SA, etc. But there's certainly nothing wrong with representing such a skull as "SS". I don't know enough about those birdies to comment on the eagle's orginality.

PS: Don't try to clean or polish the skull in any way. Do nothing more than wipe it very gently with a soft cotton cloth, to remove contaminates and grimy film, and that won't remove the desirable patina. Just don't rub it hard and make it real shiny.
