I have purchased an identical post war ring while vacationing in Mexico. Instead of the SS runes it has crossed swords on the shield...
          Still a cool looking ring!

            Ring

Rare SS Foreign Legion ring. They were stationed in Minnesota.

I posted a 14Kgold example not very long ago. The man who created this "fantasy" ring is now deceased , but he has a legacy....and some here know who he was.I believe I have one of his esperimental rings possibly made prior to him using the viking.(or maybe an original) The stories people tell when trying to sell these bogus rings....like, my dad found it in a grave of a German soldier....and the correct terminology is minnesnowda .I still see these at about 35.(every now and again.)

A friend of mine, circa 1969, had the Gold Viking Division Ring with Ruby eyes, attributed to the Divisional commander he purchased from Hollywood Military Hobbies.

this is a 100% 4th Reich piece. A fantasy now and a fantasy back in the early 1960s when Rodger Steel had them developed and made..
