      This medal is very very black so I am not sure how I would lighten it up for you

        It looks (from these photos) like an original Type I, but as stated above, better lit photos would help to see the detailing.

        It should look like this...

            We need to see the details, David may be willing to take it based on the original photos but I would not. The detail is hidden in the shadows, see the other photos posted here in this thread for an example of what I am talking about.
