I cant believe I used such poor humor to this unfortunate Sharführer but if you look closely at his tunic its almost like a combat tunic with interior zipper? Any idea what this is? One more example of something that would have been shot down on every forum on the net! (I hope this doesn't become a staple item on "snyders treaures"

I wonder if it's an adapted tunic due to the injuries of the soldier?

No pockets or awards ... he must surely have been entitled to a wound badge!

IMHO I think it's just the string of his dog tag who run on the left end of his lapel !
