    zelthban ss

    Hello,

First sorry for my bad english...

I hope to be in the correct section

I'm from Belgium and I have some questions about this zelthban.

Wich type is it ? Not very usual I think ?

I want to exchange this against other materials. What'is the correct price between collectors ?

    Thanks for your answers.

    Hi,
Oak "B" zeltbahn. Faded colors. Value is $600-$800 IMO

I agree except for the colors which, IMO, are not faded at all - just a print that looks a bit odd (ie "faded"). Check the thread it has retained its original sand color and is not faded.

Very nice, I suppose those stains are dirt that can be brushed off. If so, I would rate it as mint (minus the buttons that are lost).

        Cheers

          Yes, it's "juicy", not brushed...

          Cheers

I am referring to those stains in picture #6. That may also be a misprint, hard to tell.

              Guys,
I bet if you lift that head-hole flap, you will see the real colors before fading. Take a picture for us inside of there. That head-hole flap is Oak "A" and I bet its a little faded from age and the dye oxidizing. Not too bad, but when you look under the flap, you'll see what it once looked like. It's hard to find any zeltbahns that aren't faded from time!

                Mark:

I still think the faded look is owed to the print(s), mint-near mint zelt. Yes, these are quite hard to find but not impossible.

                Cheers

Very nice, notice that on your zelt the "right" half looks faded too, but it isn't, just a weaker print.

                    Cheers

I'd like to have Haurech look under that flap and post the picture.
