    Taste of MINT

Some folk like it salty, some with scratch and dent.
Others enjoy the mud with rust, I like mine fresh mint.

AS most of you know, my taste for SS regalia is mint.

My latest purchase from fellow forum member Jacquesf.
Upon opening the parcel from South Africa, I knew I had purchased something special. After a quick glance at all the insignia (which is all mint condition and has been restored perfectly) my attention was then on the tunic itself.
I was expecting average condition. I was sadly mistaken. This tunic is what could only be described as near mint condition. This is one of the most beautiful examples I've ever handled. Even though it has been restored, It is one hell of an example that would be almost impossible to upgrade.
    Thanks again Jacques.

Excellent! I don´t like restored, but I also realize, that sometimes you don´t have a choice!

Its handsome and a great buy but not "mint" it is restored perhaps the jacket itself is near mint. I could never describe a restored piece as mint. Beautiful cap as well.

Love seeing the "complete" set up. I love putting together something like that with the visor, best, etc. Just need a chained SS with portepee
