    SS visor --1970's reproduction?

    Hello forum

    this belongs to a friend of mine.

    I told him it looks like a 1970's reproduction and he claims it came from the vets family.

      I thought it looks okay on the outside... till I saw the stampings to the interior.

        There was a guy in Chicago who had these stamps and used them on ANYTHING and Everything he could stamp with his fat little fingers.

            The insignia and the RZM label are indeed early 70's era fakes. I cannot comment on the cap's date but it is a fake.

                      Get a feel for what styles of RZM markings/tags are correct for various items, and that will steer you clear of a lot of this.

                      I actually HAVE seen a few original items which morons rubber-stamped back in the 60's to enhance their value.

                          When he claimed it came from a "vet's family", he was telling the truth. He was referring to his veterinarian.
