Hello all,
I was offered these trousers, which came out of the theatre warehouse. I quite like the material, but I have no clue if this construction is possible.
I would be grateful for any help.

They could have been modified but the internal elastic waistband was not a feature of the wartime issue sets.Comment

thank you for your input. I must say I really like the fabric but the construction looks a bit strange to me...Question is if this modification could period or not

About 99% of "camp clothing" items are something else, fake or post war Hospital clothing. Hospitals used these into the 1950s and beyond in this blue and white "pajama" pattern.Comment
