    Hello all,
    I was offered these trousers, which came out of the theatre warehouse. I quite like the material, but I have no clue if this construction is possible.
    I would be grateful for any help.

        They could have been modified but the internal elastic waistband was not a feature of the wartime issue sets.

          thank you for your input. I must say I really like the fabric but the construction looks a bit strange to me...Question is if this modification could period or not

            About 99% of "camp clothing" items are something else, fake or post war Hospital clothing. Hospitals used these into the 1950s and beyond in this blue and white "pajama" pattern.

              Construction details do not seem to match originals. These have a lightweight theatrical look.
