SS visor eagle, which material?

I had this bird in my hand today, it looks good to me, but I'm wondering, which material it is. It is IMO not cupal and for sure not zink, but what else? The seller told me, he proofed it and it came out as silver, what would be a give away for me

No, they were not, that's the reason it would be the give away to me.

But only the seller TOLD me it is silver, that does not mean it is really silver
