    Cuff Title

It's original and that's all that matters.

I actually have one with just "Horst Wess", cut quite crudely. Still, original is original and its my only cufftitle.

        I like it!

        Best regards,

            Thanks for the comments.

What's it worth? Half of a full size?

Most original full size tend to sell for +/- $1000.00, might a damaged one be $400.00 to $500.00?

            What say y'all?

            Best,
            Howard

I do not think you would come close to 400$ on a half Horst Wessel. I paid about 100$ for mine a few years back. Other cut off cufftitles go for more, given that they are from more interesting units or such. Still, they are nice for us who cant afford to pay for the full lenght ones.

              Daniel,

No news on the book. Reading the proofs as they come along.

does it show signs of being on a tunic? (cant tell from photos) As the "collecting bug" (pillaging) spread throughout the camp some senior officers ordered the bringbacks be destroyed by cutting the CTs in half. Fine original, Id personally finish off the damaged end making it the best damned book marker for my library.

In a collecting world of mint unissued Bevo weave CTs, I would say this one is a keeper in its own way.
