Typical mediocre repro made without looking at the real thing, just for reenactors.

Alright..

..the SMW overall, could that be the closest repro out there ? I know to little about German camo overalls so i have to ask you who have seen real ones.

So far, the closest repro I have seen is the one that started this thread. Claims to the contrary, no one has so far shown anything from SM that even comes close, including the Italian camo version.

SM did "special orders".I had one.... made for a European collector. IMO it was very close w/ built in tells.I own an original and the problems are obvious .

Here's a set that I used to own (sold it on estand a while back).
I believe also from S.M. Wholesale. Looked convincing (to the novice)!
Note how the pocket flaps differ from post #23....
