Production of ss armbands

Hello everybody,

does anybody know, how the armbands left the factory: sewn together or
unsewn. Was it produced only in one size/length and delivered unsewn, so that the wearer had to make it shorter and sew it together?

I don't know that that is true. I have had and seen stacks of unissued NSDAP armbands taken from factories that were already sewn together in the back, the same with stacks of unissued armbands for other paramilitary organizations such as the SA-Wehrmannschaft and Luftschutz. I wonder why SS armbands would be handled any differently?

so were the armbands available in different sizes?

Or how were they adjusted to the circumferences of the arms?
