    SS armband good or bad?

    Hi,

    I have this one in my collection for nearly 20 years.

    Here are the lengths of the blue lines that you can see on the photo:

    a= 0,8 cm
    b= 12,0 cm
    c= 1,2 cm
    d= 9,3 cm
    e= 8,7 cm

    The white circle has a horizontal diameter of 8,7 cm and a vertical of 9,3 cm
    And the seam on the backside (see the second pic) is not exactly in the middle.

    What do you think about it?

                Hi Dr. Strangelove,

                one question: do you really think it´s an original

                or was it an ironic remark?

                  Doesn't anyone have a sense of humor anymore .....
                  Or isn't that allowed these days
                  Personally the Doctor is telling you " Yes its an original "
                  Regards
                  David

                      I'm sure the good doctor used many sophisticated formulas and theorems to come up with his conclusions.....Carbon 14 dating would require destroying a piece of the fabric, so the black light test would be the next best thing..... Bodes

                            Hi,

                            so I´m glad to hear this. Thanks a lot.

                            There´s no glowing under black light.

                            Now I have only one big problem: How can I get the blue lines off the
                            armband? I think, I´ll not use water-resistant color next time.

                            But here is another real question: Did the SS-man get the armband sewn together? Or did he sew it himself. Were the armbands only produced in one length? I ask this, because of the seam on the backside, that is not in the middle.

                            Best regards.
