Sorry to say but your cap is not ss, please look at mine cap and see the difference. Original SS sidecaps all have the thick sewing lines on top.

Yes, but certainly don't stick to this as a golden rule since you will be bound to rule at good ones that don't have this feature. Many threads have coped with this subject in the past as with the difference to KM-CA side caps.
