    Help with camoflage

I recently got this wierd jacket of e-stand.. can anyone tell me about this camo? good, bad? what type?

I thought it might have been made from zeltbahn, but a part of the back skirt looks like it could have been part og the collar of a smock? or can these holes also be found on zeltbahns?

All comments are welcome as I know next to nothing about camouflage items..

    Thanks in advance
    Jens

By the looks of it these are various "early" plane tree prints. The item was made from a smock and perhaps a 2nd smock or a zelt.

              Cheers

PS I think it is "original" but more of a POW or "civil" item or sort of.

                Cheers

Thanks Fritz from confirming the question about it being made from parts of a smock..
About the PW comment I agree that is is very likely..

I know that POW camps were not all like in the films we see on TV, but there seems to be an lot of different materiels used in this item. Too many for sitting around a camp?

Wouldn't camouflage unifrom have been dumped with other equipment after capture? I've seen plenty of newly captured POW's in camouflage but not really in a camp enviroment.

Looks lik a nice item though.

                        Chris.

Maybe a prototype / test by company tailor ?
..why one half autumn and the other summer ?
..unless you stand in front of mirror, decide what to pick - flipping side ?
( see first two top images )

Just something that crossed my mind...

I like the look and would be comfortable owning it if the price were right! a very interesting piece and possibly field made?
