        How? How? How?

"How can you tell with the ridiculous censorship? "

It's easy. All you have to do is register at the site. It's free.Takes less than one minute. Once registered, you can view the items with out any censorship applications.

And, as Bob Hritz stated, it's original.

Fair enough Charles. But IMHO the censorship is still ridiculous. And having to register on a site just to look at a militaria dealer's tawdry wares is equally ridiculous.

                Censorship

Weitze only complies with German laws, like mainly all dealers in Germany does. No big deal.

It must be kept in mind that Gerrman Law since the late 40s or early 50s, makes it a felony with up to five years imprisonment for displaying or remaking the swastika.

The exceptions are for either historical, or educational or for such other purposes, is it allowed.

Helmut by forcing a viewer to be registered in order to view the offending swastika, is proving that he is using the swastika for the accepted purposes.

Open display on his website would almost guarantee a visit from the local Hamburg Polizei Amt.

Perhaps our German members can provide us some more information on this?

Paragraph 86 and 86a of the German Federal Penalty Code regulates the usage, display, production etc. of insigna of organizations which are "againts the constitution"
No-adherance to this law implies jail up to three years of heavy fines.
Exemption is as stated as above for educational, historical or scientific purposes.
By registration to those sites like Weitze you express your compliance with those purposes.
If you do not want to register you have acces only to photos without showing any "non-constitutional"signs.
Please note that not only the Swastika falls under this legistation but also runes, wolfsangeln etc.
Please not too that not only right wing organisation are covered by this law but too extreme left and other parties and "clubs" which does work against constitution.
                    Regards
                    Christian

The German government is so frail it fears that the sight of 'prohibited emblems' will lead to a new goose stepping 4th Reich and another holocost. I am surprised they have not ordered all offensive books burned. Perhaps they are taking lessons from a former regime in censorship.

in germany are forbidden tattoos, songs, phrases on national anthem, phrase of III reich, all runes (!!), all emblems also if them were used 5000 years before.

The washing brain was really perfect.

Seems that you are not know about what you are speaking about.
The natinonal anthem (texted in 1841) is still the same since it was introduced.... 1922 all three strophs were sung, 1939-1945 it was the first stroph and now its the third. But its not illegal to sing all three strophs.
And if you ask Germans, the vast majority is very keen about that 1933-1945 will never happen again.
And we are very proud about our democratic and stable sytem which brought Germany to this what it is today.
And its absolutly right to forbid that some idiots and retards run around with swastikas and insigna which brought so much pain and sorrow to foreign AND German people. Its not that we are afraid....but its very much a sign of respect towards the world that this stupid ideas are not tolerated.
                          Regards
