A guy I get stuff from (although he is pretty far away) gets real good items on occasion. I called him today and he just sold a vet grouping buy black cuff title with the silver trim. he said it said "Bayern" so it wasn't SS or anything good but probably some civilian piece. He told me he let it go cheap so I'm guessing $50.

OUCH -- I'm betting it was better than he was thinking and I missed out.

Very well might have been -- He was just speaking from memory. Bad thing is it was a vet purchase with some good items and he just thought it was junk because it had the name of a town (he thought) and didn't have lightning bolts so or swastikas so he sold it cheap. Somebody probably got a decent piece for $20 - $50 dollars.

It was probably as Charles said. I don't think a "Bayern" cuff existed in black for the veterans organizations ( bevo style with the swords).

He not only dropped the ball, but let it roll down the driveway, into the street and it got run over by a manure cart.
