Joe Kubert was always my favorite! (Is that a Der Spiess wearing a navy colored Feldbluse with a party armband on the wrong arm?!)

Awesome Sgt.Rock and Sgt. Fury, DC vs. Marvel all great stuff that is a definite thing of our past. One of the reasons I became so into WW2 were these comics.

Me too! They were way before my time, but I love those old comics and read them daily. I'm trying to collect and read all of these:

        Marvel:

        Captain America 1-100
Sgt. Fury And His Howling Commandos
        Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
        War is Hell

        DC:

Our Army At War - Sgt. Rock
        Weird War Tales
        All American Men Of War
        Men Of War
        Our Fighting Forces
        Star Spangled War Stories
        The Unknown Soldier
        G.I. Combat
        Capt. Storm
        All Out War

        Other:

        Fightin' Army
        War And Attack

I should probably post a pic one day.

          Ambitious Dreams:
Cap America 1-100 as in the 60's Kirby drawn (more well drawn Kirby )stuff will be prohibitive in price .

Original 60's Nick Fury agent of shield are highly sought after (one of the few runs I did not liquidate and had to keep;awesome covers)

Fightin Army was from the (at the time)less popular and less prolific Charlton comics.--I remember it on the Comic racks at the 7-11.

I had all the War is Hells...bought them hot off the press...first issues had Kubert covers; trippiest art in them is by the Philippine artist Alex Nino

"Fightin Army" was one of my favorites as well.

Yes, Nick Fury is one of the best, IMO. I finished Strange Tales 135-168 and Nick Fury 1-18. It seems that the new TV show has sparked a rise in prices.
