these are extra rare helm'coverings. there are many legends connected with his production.

Only tarnjacken and some of these rarely encountered helmet covers (surely made from the reuse of tarnjacken scrap material) are known to exist.

You can not be sure of this. You have never seen one and I didn't either but that does not mean they were not produced. There were probably a coupe of milions of zeltbahns produced during the war and how many of them have you seen to be sure of that?

Helmet covers in palm pattern may have been quite popular, you can find them on a few period pictures.
And you haven't mentioned camo caps which were also made in this pattern.
