    officer LAH shoulder board device

I consider myself pretty ignorant about metal "LAH" cyphers, so i would be interested to have opinions about this one.
It was presented as an early (made before december 1939) gilt version of this device, wich would have been later produced in a bronzed finish version :

I have no other pic avaible, sorry.

From this bad image, I would say it has a chance, but a MUCH better image is needed to render a more acurate evaluation.

I agree, but it does look good in this bad pic.

It shows traits of a good cypher and is missing several signs of the bad ones.

Thanks to all, i know the pic shown above has very poor quality.
I tried with another camera, but can't do better.

Reading the other thread (now closed) with a discussion about those devices, i noticed this different détail in the lower loop of the "H", you can't see throught it, area pointed with red arrow :

At the risk of saying too much (double-edged sword ), that is actually the first spot I look at on these. If it is closed, the piece has a very good chance of being good if everything else looks acceptable. Only one variant I know of has that area open. These can be very tough, though, and without a back shot, it's anybody's guess.

Original DF cyphers also have a similar trait.
