2 nice piece arrived last week

Last week I received those pieces.
A book about SS volunteers and a pair of shoulderstraps for an SS-obersturmfuhrer (aufklärung).

I checked them under UV and there is no lighting.
I made for comparing also a picture with a modern piece of cloth next to it, so you can see the light difference.
Book and shoulderstraps coming from one household.

The owner of the shoulderstraps is known .

Hauptsturmfuhrer makes indeed more sense, because those items belonged to

Hello Uli,

I bought the items from a collector that bought some items from the "Muhlenkamp estate". He is quiting with the hobby, so that was my change to buy it.

Ofcourse it's a story. But I know the collector for many years and he is not a 'fantast'

But as always - the basic collectors lesson, 'Buy the items not the story'.
