I agree with you dave the hue of the tunic is strange.

while I also like the look of the diamond it looks really high up on that sleeve - almost elbow level. Good diamond or not i wouldn't expect it to be that far up.

I agree, dyed West German police, look at the belt support straps, cuffs etc...!
SD raute indeed way to high up...

I agree that the only thing that stands a chance is the sleeve raute. The tunic is certainly not a 3rd Reich era tunic.
