    eBay monstrosity

I want to just laugh at the idiots bidding on this silly creation, but I can't, because I am saddened to see how someone has ruined a nice old HB stein.

just glued on..probably quite easy to remove from the surface of the stein. Its a very early HB Stein with the 1L mark on the front (around 1900) and still worth the money even without the fake Tuxedo badge..so I guess serious stein collectors still bidding on it in hopes to remove the badge

There is a folding brass "SS paratrooper knife", the classic post war little fake knife that is at 380 USD right now too in a private auction.

                Stein

Often times, "as is" translates to "I know it sucks, and there's no way I want to ever see it again." Hopefully, when the glue is removed, it won't have ruined the glaze. If they're extremely lucky, maybe the glue can be chipped off with a fingernail. and THEN..................that extremely rare SS tuxedo badge can be restored to someone's fine collection !
