Hitler Bust by Zoll

Hard to place where these go. My question is on the dedication it says S.S. 1941. Iam guessing it has nothing to do with The SS, but what would anyone guess it stands for? Maybe Sports Schule? Or something to do with fencing which is Fechtkampf in German.

Yes, I figured it did not but thought someone had an idea of what the SS stood for on this dedication. I found other Hitler busts in here and figured it was somewhat of an appropriate category to ask. I WISH it was SS orientated! Id be a real happy camper!

Whats bad on it Peter? Iam not versed in them but I have not bought this one yet. I looked at some others on the forum by Zoll and did not notice any differences really.

IMO, the rendering does not look like Hitler. It's close, but not what you would expect. The eyes are not right for starters.

Its actually a good bust I think, cheapo job from the period but looks right and a white metal with a proper patina which varied. Have to watch the closed necks but this should be good. Not everything Reich related is top shelf and with lighting and patina's they can be difficult at times. Looks like Hitler to me and in line with other examples best I can tell. Ton of fakes out there though, just don't think this is one of them. Anything on the underside of the base? stickers, marks, etc?.

I really like this brass dendition of the fuhrer - I think it's a master piece -the fuhrer looks magnificent

Some green felt J.W seen others online with same material. Its the smaller size coming in at 20 cms. No pitting in the surface, I did not notice anything to be alarmed about comparing to some of the others I seen.
