Hi,
I was also very taken with the colours on this.
I've only ever had one blurred edge item, a Zeltbahn long gone, and while I find this one of the more attractive patterns, especially with bright colours like the smock shown here, does anyone have the same thoughts as me as regards its camouflage properties?
I've always thoght that it tends to blur (hence the name ) into one mass whereas the other patterns break up the outline more?
I assume trials must have been carried out before its adoption, they had a good reason to use it!
What do others think?
Good hunting,
Grossfuss
Nice original m 40 Smock. Congrats to the buyer with a nice one!
I might wonder if the drawstring could be original?? Never seen in Brown, but might be ok.

that was my thought, too. I like the look of the rayon material and the weaving, it looks OK to me...
A textbook m40 BE early camo in every way. Nice colours, Love it!
I have no reason to believe the elastic band are nothing else than original to the smock. The interesting question is the brown drawstring, it could also be real imo.
Congrats!
Cheers
