SS Armband and SS Tab

These belong to an 89 year old Veteran, and I have a chance to purchase them. I've found plenty of reference to the armband and a fair price to offer him. I can find nothing on the tab.

The multi-piece wool armband is unsewn and has very minor bug damage. The RZM tag is attached. Is it 100% authentic?

The tab has a greenish colored (wool?) front, with bullion runes and black cloth backing. There is a small stain on the front:

What is it?
Is it authentic?
Please post or PM a fair value of offer him for the tab if authentic.

Can anybody help me with an approximate value of the collar tab please?

I switched form TR collecting to WWI in the late 70's - early 80's and am out of touch with these artifacts. I have an opportunity to purchase a lot of nice original TR bring back items from an 89 year old WWII U.S. Army Veteran and want to offer him a fair price.
