    Carved wooden ss bread plate

        You will be dis-heartened ....
        How do you know this was made in the war time period.
        I dare say this has a hefty price tag on it too ?
        You would be better off buying an ordinary festive bread plate at a sensible price

          I agree. Also, to me it doesn't look war time made

            Not much wood carving going on with that I'm afraid

            It’s been tuned on a lathe and the lettering and what not burnt into the wood with a hot screw driver

            I could make a better one in the garden shed

            Complete poor amateurish fantasy piece IMO

              It would be interesting to know who offered you such a piece of junk.

              Original wooden SS cultural plates do exist - but they look just completely different.
