    IMHO I think that the eagle that started this thread is made by a different maker than your two eagles.

      There is no comparing and although one cannot definitely say by just the photo after years of studying, in hand, real ones, you can make a gut decision and be right 98% of the time...not everyone but those with enough hands on can. I am comfortable that the one starting the thread is a fake whether it "came from a vet" or not. I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt but if it were offered to me I would just say no thank you.

        The two posted by Chris look like nice original eagles though.

          patina oxidation and details are the keys. Moreover better to focus in a textbook eagles.

            Yes and notice all the real ones have small imperfections and the symmetry is not always perfect or stiff.
