    Totenkopf real or fake?

    Hi all,
    A friend of mine bought this TK (prussian style???) as an original but I am unsure,is it an original or a fake?

        Dave.

        These early skulls are notoriously difficult from photos as they were made from the late 19th century right through to the end of WW2. There are at least a dozen slight variants, maybe more.

        The pins seem a bit wider than usual, but I have seen even wider pins on the earliest types.

        I'll stick my neck out and say that it looks fine to me. It's certainly NOT one of the known fake types.

          Im also interested in this case...

          I have one very similar skull myself.... I will try to post pictures of it or getting help posting since I've been to greedy to pay the member fee..

                along with felix and robin... this one looks good to me and is more or less like the one i have, though my pins are pretty sad looking.
