    SS M43 cap in Italian Material for opinions

    Hi , Can I please have your kind opinions on this cap , I know they are faked alot these days. Can anyone help steer me based on the material , liner and construction ect ect

    My first impression is repro, not much wear to it ? Stiching seems a little sloppy?

    Might be better off in the cloth section ?

              Cannot comment on the cap itself but the markings look odd to me and the very clear outlines of the insignia are often a sign of fakery

                    Hi guys!


                    I see nothing wrong with this cap to be honest.

                    Looks like a Italian Berven - Padova made cap. I have seen several like this often with coastal artillery insignias. But sometimes with SS insignias as well.

                    The name tag inside this cap does not indicate it was used by the SS.

                          No, nor to all SS caps but as I said it's often a sign of fakery ... especially on 'Latvian-made' Ebay visor caps.

                          I don't profess to be an expert but it makes me uneasy.
