Interesting, they look good but do have flaws, maybe they were rejects ?

    Wait for other opinions

Perhaps I am a perfectionist, well i know i am really

The swas looked a bit out on the lower one and the upper one the chest was not quite symetrical

Not sure there was such a thing as rejects were there ?
It was just a badge after all.
It was never meant to be produced as a collectors item.
                  Regards

If the quality of these gives you pause, then you sure wouldn't want to start collecting those really loosely embroidered later war SS RZM eagles on the thinner wool. The wings are uneven, fletching terrible, and body shape irregular.

The posted eagles are very well made, IMO. No QC problems at all.

                            Hi Guys,

I thought they looked nicely made myself, compared to some of the late war pieces, like RobertE said.

                            regards,
                            Kevin

I have seen better, and owned better looking and constructed examples, look at the swas on the lower example, looks a little wonky to me, but it’s really academic, I was being far too pedantic, they are good originals that's all that matters, it was not a criticism for owning them
