Has to do with the way the stitching appears on the reverse. These can be found on reenactor websites. I think this one is referred to as a Reddit fake.

It should look like this. One easy pointer is the upward stroke on the "o."

                      What To Look For?

As stated before, the front is a dead give away, as is the reverse.

Access this link and study the examples very carefully, especially the reverse:
http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ight=Waffen+SS. Borders on the back come to mind.

Also, key in Reddick Reproductions in the Search function. Study those BeVO cuff titles as well.

Does anyone know when the BeVo cufftitles were actually introduced in the case of the LSSAH?

                          A) Second half 1942? (Pre-Kharkov, Feb. 1943)

                          B) After Kharkov and before Kursk? (March-July 1943)?

I always read 'introduced in 1943', but that's a little too vague for my taste and I have the feeling that it might have been in late 1942.

                          Can anyone shed a light?

                          Best,
                          Markus
