    Nazi occult Mythos literary genre

And "T.K." was onto something when he mentioned, "It's said the branch was called Sonderauftrag H (C3) and was part of the RSHA Amt VII" . . . this is from a blog, but serves well to be brief in explanation, and even mentions much of the in-depth study on the topic:

And I agree - there is much material out there about the SS and the occult . . . and the quest to decipher fact from fiction does become a challenge quite often!
These bits of factual documentation are used by novelists/game designers as the outline of their fantasy/horror/SF/adventure themes.
No doubt they looked at the same blog as well as all the previous made up stuff. It is a self perpetuating theme called the Nazi -Occult Mythos as a literary genre.

I know, I have a large collection of them . Many from the 70s and 80s are worth a lot of money(relatively) now in their own right.

Never heard from the ''gegen geist gruppen'' And I Always assumed I was pretty informed.
I think you will find the answer in the so-called ''esoterische Hitlerismus'' and the books of people like Miquel Serrano or Savitri Devi.

Where does Madame Blavatsky fit in with Hitler & Himmler?

            Top-notch museum staff - top-notch research being conducted . . .

A note for future readers of this topic:

On a recent visit to Wewelsburg, we came across one of the museum staff - an "authority", I was told. I brought up two words - "Hexenkartothek" and "Hexen-Sonderauftrag". I appeal to anyone else that visits there to do the same - you will find the reaction something unexpected. I'll leave it at that for now . . .

You could also mention a certain member of Waf's name and see what reaction you get.

I have found this PDF book, The Invisible Eagle an interesting INITIAL summary of the whole occult side of things Nazi-wise. It's only very brief and is really just a thumb nail sketch, but may be helpful for people who are interested in the area. It tries to be balanced in it's approach, but everyone will have their views. There is clearly a lot of rubbish written, lots of juicy nonsense and a little bit of truth knocking around as well relating to the whole area.

                    http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ci...ible_eagle.htm

The PDF link is at the bottom of the entry and the page is part of a larger site.

Mods feel free to delete this if it's not appropriate.

Oh come on - you can't leave us hanging like that. Was the staff member a hot blonde girl and did she invite you to a witches ritual where she danced around naked under a full moon??

Come on mate - we want details......
