    Early Allg. SS ?

    Hi
Not sure this thread belongs here, but I try to put it here too.
What kind of uniform is this?
Picture dated 1936. Looks like a Golden Party Badge.
Are there any where you can look up names on the members who got the Golden Party badge?

It's certainly not a member of the SS, the guy is very freaky He's lost a finger.
Maybe It's NSKF Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps, because the pin on the tie looks like the NSKF logo.

        AJ,
I would say not ss, can you do a higher resolution scan of the collar insignia, the round badge is also not a golden party badge, both badges look like day badges to me,
        cheers,
        Gary

While I can't say what uniform this man is wearing other than wrinked - very untidy chap indeed. I do think that I have identified the pin on his tie and one of the badges on his tunic. Have a look.

The one on his tie looks like the illustration on the left. The other badge looks like the badge on the right. Both badges are found in the book "Insignia, Decorations and Badges of the Third Reich" by R. Kahl

The tie pin is listed as an unofficial flying badge and the badge on his tunic is listed as a donation badge with the insciption "Für des Führer Jugend". This badge show a Hitler Youth standing with a HJ flag over the insciption then a HJ badge below.

Whatever this guy is he's trying to look as offical as possible. Maybe that this is indeed an early pre-NSFK uniform.

Definetely not SS-Allgemeine. Look at the cap: I think he´s a NSDAP member.

He's a bog-standard NSDAP Hauptstellenleiter wearing the 1934-36 pattern uniform. That's all. Nothing to do with the SS.
