    SD Uniform set

    Hi,

I want to collect an official SD officer (Obersturmführer) pre-war uniform set and
want to ask, if you could help me with choosing the proper set and insignia.

This one (Hauptsturmführer) is a stone grey uniform:

    is it ok?

    1) What is the difference between stone grey and field grey SD uniforms?
    2) Who was entitled to have a 'SD-Hauptamt' armband?
    3) What about pre war uniforms with closed dark collars? (this one is open)
    4) Do I need an Aiguillette (cord)?
    5) Which ribbons would be proper for a pre-war officer to be placed in the ribbon-bar?

I would appreciate www contacts to shops, where I can collect the set.

    Thank you!

Honestly! If you had that uniform, and it was original, would you try to sell it at ebay? Why? If it was OK, it should have been worth at least USD 15000!

It is new Chinese manufacture, they are okay for display but are not the same quality and fabrics as original period items but as noted, originals are rare and very expensive.

No offence but before you spend money (as stated below many thousands of dollars) it appears you need to do some serious research if you are having to ask questions like this.
purely friendly advice. Spend a bit on some books and get to know subject matter or you are liable to get ripped off
