I was afraid of that. I had an older gentleman that was selling it and he really needed money for some house repairs. He had bought it from a "friend of a vet". He paid $700 for it and now Ive got to tell him he's SOL

Get him to take it back with the message he has blatantly been ripped off and demands that his money be refunded back to him. You don't even pay $700 for a Janke visor and therefore this is surely a conman who sold it to him ....

this is a cap I can even see is ugly..and it looks brand new
the chin cords are from a late east german Visor..twisted to the left

he bought it a few years ago and there is no way to get it back. He just assumed it was real. Too bad
