Need help with SS collar tab

I've purchased this collar tab at a flea market couple of days ago. I don't know whether its original or not.Many thanks in advance!

Unfortunately its a clear fake tab, the twisted cord is postwar style and the also the used buckram is wrong

Bad (fat) piping indeed...The pips are bad too based (bronze?) on the prongs...
