Waffen SS Handschar Division maroon fez Insigna.

Hi Gents!

I would like Yours opinion over these SS Maroon Fez Insigna.
In detail over these Skull.
Is these Skull an Flatwire example?
And why?......... if it is an Flatwire Skull is over these Fez?
It is because these Fez is for Officers?
Also these Eagle..... is a little bid odd for me over these cap, I always seen a different type of Eagle!
I don't know if...... with these poor pics You can feel the difference between the two insigna, but......the Skull appears to be Flatwire to me.....but not the Eagle!
Insigna appears well machine sewn in black over the cap.

That's not the 'dotty' type of insignia.

I know what you mean about some of these looking like flatwire. I don't think I've ever seen one that actual had flatwire insignia, but some of them just look (and feel) like a wire type.
Particular some of the skulls.

However, it is just the type you frequently see on these, and they are enlisted types as Ian indicated.
