      It's fine. Typical wonky embroidery you sometimes encounter on pieces out of the Dachau stores.

            Yes there are fakes of this kind of italian shield. The ebay hunters knows that.
            However this one looks original.

              Historical-Militaria sells fakes of this shield for just under 10E

              See here. It is straighter than the original crooked border one that Ralph showed...

                  Produced and worn. Reputed to have been made in Italy. It is a nice original, I like it as is. Has character.
