That will explain why i couldn't find any pics of it on the net,with it only been there for a short time.

I think that is what became the Soviet War Memorial, close to the Brandenburg Gate in the old British sector.

Very important find! A used Dachau D tab! Very rare!

Congrats to your friend! Corresponds to some late war POW photos we have seen of this tab in wear.

Felix i should have been more clear,The grouping is in my collection.I was posting it for a member to see.
also thanks Paul Luc and Basil.Also thanks Johnny i never noticed the link you posted,It's great to see it from a different angle and to get a idea as to how big it actually was,the true size of it seems lost in my small photgraph.
