    Armband Identification Help.

Can any one out there help me to identify this armband? I don't know a thing about armbands used by the SS. These pictures were sent to me by a dealer who knows as little as I do. The reason I'm posting this here, is due to the cloth SS RZM tag on the inside of the piece. The trim on both edges is a gold colored thread of some kind. These are the best images I can get. Don't pay attention to the wavy lines . That's picture noise. Can anyone help ???
    Thanks, Mark

    Sorry All.

I did all I thought I was supposed to do, but I can't get the attachments to show up. I'll try again later. I'm brand new at this.

This is a strange one ...... Rather a home made piece I would of thought because of its un-eveness and the way it has been crudley put together. What are the materials used in the construction of this arm band ... ? I would be interested to know what the orange pipping is made of. David

But could this be one of those very early items when the new German military forces began to take shape... ?

I don't like this at all. The "home made" feel to it that David refers to might be credible for an early NSDAP peice, if it were not for the faked SS/RZM tag Not an item you would want for your collection Mark.

            Cheers, Ade.

              Mark,
I agree with Ade & David.
Your armband would be for a low ranking political leader, the golden yellow piping is for Reich level.
The swastika looks properly formed, but the circle is crudely cut out - possible with an "early" one, but combined with the fake tag, it doesn't look good.
Here is an original ss armband, note how perfect the circle is.
              Regards,
              Fred

It didn't look right to me, but as I said, I'm out of my field here. I'm glad I have this forum to go to with these questions. Thanks to everyone!
