Looks to be an original "felt"/ "waste wool" type with the wider button hole

I have several of this type in WH but you do not see them in SS very often. I have only one SS pair which are veteran brought back. Will post images of some of mine when I get a chance,

In the mean time, here is one that "LuckyStrike23" is selling on the estand.

Although it is WH, one can clearly see it is the same style with the same type of "wider" button hole. This type is not made from wool. Instead they use felt & waste wool.

The blue piping on the SS example which started this is felt/ waste wool not the regular wool.

The moths just love it

I was thinking the wool looked OK? Cloth is not something I seriously study, however. These aren't 'textbook' either. Hrmm...

I wouldn´t call myself "an expert", but for what it´s worth, I do not like the "medic straps". IMO not original.
