Hello sirs i am seeking opinions and possibly assistance: For the last few months i have been searching high and low for this flag. I have even gone as far as researching past posts on various forums going years back regarding this flag- and contacting the people who made them and inquiring as to the possibility of acquiring it. The answer was universally (with one exception) " oh i sold/traded that flag years ago." it seems to be something that collectors get, have for a period, and then sell or trade away. So my question is this: Why? It seems to me this flag would surely be among the most coveted production (by production i mean factory made, mass produced) 3rd reich flags, and something that once acquired, would be a fixture in one's collection. Is it because they are discovering that they are not what they believed them to be and selling or trading away. I know that there has been in years past hot debate on waf about the veracity of this flag. I believe it is a high end repro, and i am looking for it because it is an exact match in construction, material, size and marking, to a repro tk flag that was given to me by my brother who passed away, and i have wanted it's runic mate ever since. Is it that i'm wrong and this flag is genuine, and such a sought after item that you just don't see them for sale any more? But if that's true why do people have this flag briefly and then get rid of it? Any opinions or help in my search would be greatly appreciated...
